Join us for a journey down the La Salle River at one of our August Wednesday Evening Open Paddles!

These paddles start and end at the canoe/kayak launch at La Barriere Park, just past the Paddle Manitoba Paddling Centre building. August paddles leave the launch at 6:30 pm sharp and cover about 6 km (4 mi) before returning at 8:30 pm. Note that event may be cancelled at last minute due to weather or water conditions.
There are two ways you can participate:
You can bring your own canoe, kayak or SUP. Be sure to arrive early enough to unload your boat and park before the departure time. You must wear a PFD (lifejacket) and have the required Transport Canada safety equipment of a whistle, throw rope and bailer (canoes and kayaks).
