Wednesday, September 30, 2026 is our Light Bright Paddle!
Bring your own boat and join us for a journey down the La Salle River in a different way for our last paddle of September!
This paddle will start and end at the canoe/kayak launch at La Barriere Park, just past the Paddle Manitoba Paddling Centre building. We'll leave the launch at 6:30 pm sharp and paddle until dusk, returning in the dark (8:30ish). Bring lights to decorate your boat, along with a waterproof flashlight (or better yet, a headlamp with a red setting ability to not blind other paddlers). Be sure to arrive with enough time before launch to unload, park, use the washroom and decorate your boat!
Along with lights and a flashlight, you must wear a PFD (lifejacket) and have the required Transport Canada safety equipment of a whistle, throw rope and bailer (for canoes and kayaks) or…
