Join us for a journey down the La Salle River at one of our May Wednesday Evening Open Paddles!

These paddles start and end at the canoe/kayak launch at La Barriere Park, just past the Paddle Manitoba Paddling Centre building. May paddles leave the launch at 6:30 pm sharp and cover about 6 km (4 mi) before returning at 8:30 pm. Note that event may be cancelled at last minute due to weather or water conditions.
*An important note is that bridge on Waverly, when coming from the Perimeter Highway was underwater for parts of April and while the water had receded, the bridge surface is damaged and the bridge is now closed.
However, La Barriere Park can still be accessed from the south by taking Highway 75 south to Provincial Road 247 and turning right (west) to Waverly, then turning right (north) to…
