Canoe Dig It? is a mockumentary comedy set in the wonderfully strange and very real world of freestyle canoeing, a performative sport best described as “canoe dancing.” Competitors spin, dip, and paddle in perfect synchronization to music, all in pursuit of the title of Top Paddler.
Funny, offbeat, and full of heart, the film follows a cast of quirky and surprisingly relatable competitors as they prepare for a canoeing showdown in northern Maine.
