Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating Inuit craftsmanship, tradition, and cultural continuity in kayaking. As part of Paddle Canada’s commitment to EDI initiatives, we are proud to share what we hope will be the first of many learning opportunities that honour the Indigenous roots of paddle sports in Canada.

Noah Nochasak is an Inuk kayaker (Kajattutik) from Nunatsiavut. Noah grew up in different northern communities across Canada. His father was originally from the settlement of Hebron, Nunatsiavut and his mother was originally from South Brookfield, Nova Scotia. He ran a Kajak program for five years in his hometown Nain, Labrador. Noah holds Paddle Canada Level 4 skills, Level 2 Instructor with one L3 mentorship, basic instructor trainer, and SKGABC L2 guide.
